() by Sigur RĂłs is my first introduction to the genre of Post Rock. I remember vividly as a kid watching Vanilla Sky's ending, as he takes a leap of faith to wake up from the terrible nightmare he has been experiencing. It was a genius idea to incorporate the Untitled 4 track from this album also known as "NjâĂłâsnavâĂ©âlin" to convey the correct emotions to the viewers of the movie. () is Sigur RĂłs most melancholic album to date in my opinion.
